Hello! I wanted to introduce myself a little bit. My name is Alyson White. I am originally from California but was raised in here in Las Vegas. I am working on getting my Associate of Applied Science in Marketing. I currently work two jobs while also going to school. In my free time I like to read, watch movies, be outside, and with family or friends. I love to travel and learn about different cultures. I can't wait to see what I am able to learn while taking IS101.

Hi Alyson, I was also living out in California all over the place out there. It is so big compared to Las Vegas. Seems like the Californian's are moving out here now, because the traffic is getting worse and worse, like California. Me and my older brother were big into movies also, i would say my favorites are comedy now.

I think that tends to stem from my family never going on vacations and the only other state I've really been to and explored has been Arizona due to having family out there. Hi Alyson! I am also interested in learning different cultures, specifically Korean and Thai cultures because I followed a lot of artists that I looked up to on those countries. I love their culture, and I even adapted some and started doing them.

ReplyDeleteHi Alyson! My little sister just graduated with her bachelor's in marketing. It's a diverse field and Vegas is a good place to be with a degree in marketing. I'm not from California but I did live in San Diego for 10 years. I've only been in Vegas for a little over a year. I miss Long Beach the most, but I go back often. If housing was reasonable, I'd move back. Also, a round of applause for working two jobs and taking college courses! I hope you get some rest in between time! Best Wishes!!

ReplyDeleteWorking two jobs and taking college courses must be very difficult, I work part-time, and sometimes, I find myself trying to stay motivated. Vegas is very diverse, so I'm sure you'll be able to learn about many other cultures!

ReplyDeleteGreeting Alyson, Traveling is one of the activities that can be fun and educational at the same time. I always thought a Greece, Turky, Egypt round trip would be fascinating. I wish you luck in your studies, so that you can obtain a career in Marketing that will afford you the opportunity to travel.
